Black Tea: Ostfriesen Tea

Ostfriesen tea, sometimes called East Frisian is a strong blend of black tea that originated in East Frisia, a region in the north coast of Germany.

Like other black tea blends such as English Breakfast, the exact blend used to make Ostriesen tea varies, and the tea is characterized more by its strength and flavor rather than its ingredients. However, Ostriesen tea often contains Assam and frequently contains Ceylon and/or Darjeeling black tea as well.
