This category is for teas whose origin is unknown to RateTea.net. This does not necessarily mean that the origin is unknown to the manufacturer. Most of the teas listed in this category are likely to be blends, both since tea companies often do not want to draw attention to the fact that a tea is a blend, and since tea companies that do not identify sources of origin are more likely to use blends. However, some of these teas could be single-origin.
While entering tea, we look for information from tea companies on the source of their teas...but we may have overlooked this information. For example, if the information is available on the website but not on the packaging, and we entered teas based on information on the package, this information may have been omitted.
