Sakae is made from select leaves, sprouts and stems of the tea plant harvested in early June. Bathed in sunlight, this fresh and vibrant green tea has a natural vivid taste. Sakae is a back-to-basics all natural tea containing stems, buds, leaves and crushed particles; picked then packed for immediate delivery. Sakae was produced to resemble how Green Tea is most commonly consumed by the farmers themselves. In comparison to Sencha, this Bancha is highly recommended as an easy drinking and light tasting Green Tea.
