↑About Simpson & Vail
Simpson & Vail is a tea and coffee company founded in 1904 by Augustus M. Walbridge, in New York City. In 1929 it was sold to Mr. Simpson and Mr. Lester Vail, who renamed the company to its current name. Until 1962, the company only sold loose tea, but it has since added tea bags and coffee to its offerings. In 1978, Jim and Joan Harron purchased the business.
Simpson & Vail now has a single store in Brookfield, CT. This location features regular tea tasting events.
Simpson & Vail sells a wide range of single-origin teas and blend, including teas that can be difficult to obtain in the United States, including teas from Bolivia (currently unavailable) and Colombia.
